Mr. Cho, thank you for joining us today and for the update on what we all hope will be a long future of cooperation, one that benefits all parties involved. Despite a rebound, our economy remains sluggish. Yet in the face of this uncertainty, Toyota has demonstrated a willingness to invest in new production facilities, invest in the community, and invest in the people of South Texas. Reigniting the full economic potential of the San Antonio area means creating jobs -- and the prosperity and growth that good jobs help promote. the people of Bexar County are some of the most hardworking men and women in the country. And our climate, location and pro-business environment are unrivaled. --- Toyota made an excellent choice! Governor Perry, thank you for all your work and dedication. Your determination to make this day a reality was an inspiration for us all. and to my colleagues in the Congressional delegation and to our outstanding delegation in Austin: Thank you for your efforts, and for what I know will be continued assistance on behalf of this remarkable achievement for South Texas. and most importantly, congratulations to the people of my hometown. You’ve succeeded in this first step, and I know that your efforts will make the San Antonio plant the envy of the automotive world. But much remains to be done before the first truck rolls off the assembly line. I want you all to know that you have my support, and that you can count on me to be with you every step of the way. There’s still red tape to be shredded, and I have a pretty big pair of scissors now. Thank you again for all you’ve done, and the shining example you will continue to be.
