Happy Independence Day!

I hope you are celebrating our nation’s 239th birthday surrounded by friends and family.

While we enjoy backyard BBQs, listen to great music, and take in fireworks, it is right for us to pause and remember that the real cause for celebration is the freedoms that we have come to enjoy in this nation.

To those among us who have worn our nation’s uniform to protect that freedom: thank you.
