Defending Our 2nd Amendment

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States

Senator Cornyn has been an avid outdoorsman since his earliest days as a young Texan. He takes every available opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and to hunt, shoot, and fish. In Washington, Sen. Cornyn is a leading defender of the Second Amendment. As a member of the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus, he helps promote and defend America's outdoor sporting traditions and commonsense wildlife conservation policies. Senator Cornyn's consistent defense of the constitutional right to keep and bear arms has earned him a perfect A+ rating from the National Rifle Association.
