WASHINGTON –Today on the Senate floor, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) announced the addition of five new Democrat cosponsors to the bipartisan Fix NICS Act, bringing the total to 69 including him. Three-quarters of the Senate Democrat Caucus have now cosponsored the bill. Excerpts of Sen. Cornyn’s remarks are below, and video of his remarks can be found here
