WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn made the following statement regarding the Coastal Conservation Association’s beach cleanup at the South Padre National Seashore on Saturday:"Protecting and preserving our natural resources ensures that future generations will have the benefit of the outstanding shoreline that we in Texas are so fortunate to enjoy."I extend my congratulations to the Coastal Conservation Association for its fine work in organizing the clean-up of our shores. And I applaud those who volunteer their time cleaning the beaches today, and throughout the year.
