WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) met yesterday with Texan Sara Carter, whom President Trump nominated to serve as Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP). As chair of the U.S. Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control, Sen. Cornyn is strongly committed to stopping the flow of deadly drugs into the interior of our country, combatting the fentanyl crisis that has ravaged communities across Texas and our nation, and holding traffickers of these narcotics accountable for their role in the loss of American lives.
