WASHINGTON – Today on Tax Day, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) spoke with Dallas Regional Chamber members, including new President and CEO Brad Cheves, to discuss the provisions in the once-in-a-generation Working Families Tax Cuts Act secured by Sen. Cornyn and President Trump to help small businesses reinvest in their employees and North Texas families to keep more of their hard-earned money. The Working Families Tax Cuts Act, or the One Big Beautiful Bill, now law, prevented a more than $3,000 tax hike on the average Texas family, made the small business tax deduction permanent, and ensured no tax on tips and no tax on overtime for millions of Americans.
