WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) met with Pleasanton Mayor JR. Gallegos and members of the Pleasanton City Council to discuss expanding workforce development opportunities, investing in trade schools, and modernizing infrastructure. The city leaders also highlighted the positive impact the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) grant funding has had on improving public safety in the community thanks to Sen.
