WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) and U.S. Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25) released the following statements after President Trump signed the George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush Coin Act (S.457), their bill to authorize the immediate issuance of coins honoring President George H.W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush, into law:
“The lives of President George H.W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush were characterized by love of country and service for others,” said Sen. Cornyn. “Each coin will preserve their legacy and inspire us all to serve others in their memories.”
