WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) yesterday met with and spoke to a delegation in support of a National Museum of the American Latino, which included Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino, the National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). Sen. Cornyn discussed his legislation to authorize the Smithsonian Institution to create a museum that celebrates the Latin American experience, as well as important policy priorities for Latinos in Texas.
